Meet the Team
PatrimonyStay was founded in 2021 by heritage-conservation experts, hospitality veterans, and cultural curators committed to safeguarding India’s architectural treasures. Historic properties often languish due to high restoration costs and lack of professional management. We bridge this gap by offering end-to-end heritage hotel services: conservation planning, adaptive reuse, luxury operations, and cultural programming.
Our leadership includes architects certified by INTACH, hotel-management alumni from the Oberoi and Taj groups, and scholars of Indian art history. We adhere to UNESCO guidelines for heritage conservation and FICCI’s Responsible Hospitality standards. PatrimonyStay operates on three pillars: Authenticity, Sustainability, and Guest Delight. Authenticity ensures period-accurate restoration using hand-crafted materials—jaali lattices, lime plaster, and antique hardware—while integrating discreet modern comforts. Sustainability emphasizes solar energy, rainwater harvesting, and sourcing local artisans, reducing carbon footprint and empowering communities. Guest Delight delivers curated experiences: private raga recitals, village tours, and farm-to-table feasts featuring local cuisines.
We partner with local trusts, state tourism boards, and international NGOs to revive endangered sites. To date, PatrimonyStay has successfully restored and managed five heritage properties—Haveli Vilas in Jaisalmer, Spice Manor in Kochi, and Victoria House in Darjeeling—achieving 95% occupancy, 4.8/5 guest ratings, and significant uplift in community livelihoods.
